Another Day

Just everyday pics of Ben, he is developing into quite the character. It is looking like we have a laid back extrovert on our hands- the recipe for a perfect "Preacher's Kid." Please start saying prayers for us now~

Lucky

Ben has yet to discover all the ways he has been blessed having Mark as his dad. It is the source of much joy to watch the boys laugh and play together. Mark is an incredible dad, full of patience, creativity and tenderness. So with hearts full of love, a grateful wife and a chubby cheeked cutie (with two bottom teeth!) say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
Ben gave Mark two new rockers for our front porch. Prior to this weekend, we had a hand me down wicker rocker that had seen better days. Most days after work Mark takes Ben out on the porch and they look at the birds and trees together. Now the Watson men can "Rock and Talk" in true North Carolina style.

Eight Months

We had a great weekend with the Carr family. Kevin & Carolyn's friendship dates back to Mark's college days in Ohio. They came for a visit with their two sons, Liam and (Big)Ben...our (Little) Ben was in heaven playing with the boys all weekend. Kevin is always a resource for some good dirt on Mark. He reminded Mark this weekend of Mark declaring back in the day that he wouldn't go out with a "girly-girl." Funny how things change...We are so thankful to have so many friends that feel like family.

The Big Stand

We would all be very surprised if Ben ever crawls...he HATES tummy time and refuses to even pretend to practice anything resembling crawling (rocking, pre-crawl, whatever all that stuff is). Ben does love to practice standing. All the other kids may crawl in circles around him and that is a-okay...his little chubby cheeks and sweet smile are just enough for us.
