Our new next-door
neighbor Charlie is a horse trainer with a beautiful ranch in the foothills of
Santa Barbara. He invited us out to the ranch a couple of times to see the
horses and gave the kids riding lessons. We've won him over by delivering warm, yummy baked treats on a regular basis. Ben loved the horses, but Ben pretty much
loves anything new, he’s our jump right in guy. Clara, on the other hand is
typically more reserved.
However, from the
moment Clara got to the ranch it was as if she was home. She was calm, focused
and so content. Watching her ride Sprinkles around the ring, Leah had to put
the camera down and soak in the wonder of this strong, confident little girl
doing something she loved and doing it well.
Ride on baby girl, ride on.
